Unscramble letters into the target word. The learner has to reconstruct the spelling rather than simply recognise it.
Spell It
Listen to the word and enter the spelling from the audio cue. This connects pronunciation with letter recall.
Fill in the Blank
Complete missing letters or words using the provided context. This adds sentence-level cues instead of showing the answer directly.
Guess the Word
Work from clues such as definitions, synonyms, phonetics, or other word context to identify the target word.
Build Words
Assemble word parts to practise how a target word is constructed, including roots, prefixes, and suffixes where relevant.
