Privacy Policy

1. Scope and Our Approach

This Privacy Policy explains how Think Champion ("we," "our," or "us") handles information when a family uses the Think Champion website and web application (the "Service"). Think Champion is designed for spelling and vocabulary practice by children and families, so we aim to collect and use only information that is reasonably needed to provide, secure, support, and improve the Service.

2. Information We May Collect

Family account information

• Email address and authentication identifiers
• Account or display name when provided
• Security and sign-in information needed to authenticate the account

Child profile information

Family Profiles are designed to keep learning progress separate. Depending on the profile fields currently available, a family may provide:

• A child profile name or nickname
• An emoji or other in-product avatar choice
• A selected age band or learning level used to tailor practice

Parents should avoid placing unnecessary personal details in profile names or custom game content.

Games and learning data

• Custom word lists and games you create
• Generated topics or learning-level selections
• Challenge attempts, answers, scores, and completion information
• Learning signals such as accuracy, streaks, games played, and word mastery
• Language-specific practice information, including Hindi spelling activity when used

Sharing information

If you intentionally share a game, we process the identifiers and game information required to make that shared practice available to the intended recipient or link visitor.

Subscription and transaction information

If you purchase Pro, the payment provider processes payment details. Think Champion may receive information needed to recognize the purchase, such as subscription status, product, transaction identifiers, dates, and purchaser contact information. We do not need to store a full payment-card number in order to provide Pro access.

Technical, security, and service-log information

Our hosting, authentication, database, and security infrastructure may process technical information such as browser or device type, IP address, timestamps, request logs, error information, and identifiers used to protect accounts and operate the Service.

3. How We Use Information

We use information as reasonably necessary to:

• Create and authenticate family accounts
• Maintain separate child profiles and learning progress
• Create, save, generate, and play spelling and vocabulary games
• Provide pronunciation, vocabulary context, Hindi practice, and other learning features
• Calculate scores, streaks, progress, and word mastery
• Enable game sharing that a user intentionally initiates
• Recognize Free Trial or Pro access and provide subscription support
• Secure, troubleshoot, maintain, and improve the Service
• Communicate about an account, purchase, security issue, or material service change
• Comply with legal obligations and protect users, rights, and safety

4. AI-Generated Learning Content

When a user asks Think Champion to generate a game or word list, the topic, learning-level choice, and other input needed to fulfill that request may be processed by the AI service configured for the feature. Do not place sensitive personal information in an AI-generation prompt or custom word list unless it is genuinely necessary for the learning task.

AI-generated educational content can be imperfect. This processing is used to produce requested learning material, not to build advertising profiles of children.

5. Children’s Privacy and Family Supervision

Think Champion is designed to be used by children through a family learning experience. We take additional care with child-related information:

• Children under 13 should use the Service with appropriate parent or guardian consent and supervision.
• Family accounts and child profiles are intended to let a parent or guardian manage learning access.
• We do not sell children’s personal information.
• We do not use targeted advertising as the funding model for the learning experience.
• Parents should avoid entering unnecessary identifying information in child profiles, custom lists, or shared games.

6. Service Providers and Data Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We may disclose or make information available in the following limited circumstances:

• Infrastructure providers: services used for hosting, authentication, databases, storage, security, and related operation, including Google Firebase services used by Think Champion.
• Payment provider: the checkout and subscription provider used for Pro purchases, currently Gumroad for the marketing offer on this site.
• AI processing provider: when needed to fulfill a user-requested AI generation feature.
• Authentication providers: if a user chooses an external sign-in option that is available in the current product.
• People you intentionally share with: when you choose to share a game or learning link.
• Legal or safety reasons: when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect users, rights, security, or the Service.
• Business changes: if ownership or operation of the Service changes, subject to applicable law and appropriate privacy protections.

7. Storage and Security

Think Champion uses Google Firebase services for parts of its authentication, database, storage, hosting, and backend infrastructure. We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information in transit and at rest where supported by the infrastructure.

No online service can promise absolute security. Families should use a strong account password, protect access to their email account, and notify us if they believe an account has been compromised.

8. Retention and Deletion

We retain account and learning information while it is needed to provide the Service, maintain legitimate records, resolve disputes, secure the Service, or comply with law. When an account-deletion request is valid and no legal exception applies, we aim to remove or de-identify associated personal information within 30 days, although backups and legally required records may take longer to cycle out.

Aggregated or de-identified information that can no longer reasonably identify a user may be retained for service improvement and reliability analysis.

9. Your Choices and Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of certain personal information. Parents and guardians may also ask us to address child-profile information associated with their family account.

To make a privacy request, email support@thinkchampion.com. We may need to verify that the requester is authorized to act for the account or child before completing a request.

10. International Processing

Service providers may process information in countries other than the one where the user lives. Where required, we rely on appropriate legal mechanisms and provider safeguards for international data transfers.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the product, service providers, or legal requirements change. We will post the current version here and update the date above. We will provide additional notice of material changes when required by law.
